Cubs Summary of the Week – 5th November 2019

Weekly Summary

Last week we celebrated Guy Falkes night with an amazing array of fireworks at the hut, this was a group event and it was fantastic to see so many young people and adults from Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.  The collection go towards the Brownsie Island camp next year, I’m pleased to say we raised £275, so many, many thanks for all the kind donations!

This weekend we also collected donations for the Poppy Appeal, all the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts did us proud. We met some lovely people and I’m sure we raised plenty for the appeal, we will find out the exact amount soon.

Next meeting

There is not a Cubs meeting this week, the next meeting is 19th November.
