Weekly Summary
Last week was our AGM, we are always grateful for the number of parents and carers that attend the AGM, it’s an important meeting for the group and it’s an excellent opportunity for you to see what we have been doing over the past year.
Next meeting
This week the Cubs will learn about what to pack for camps, we will also discuss items that shouldn’t be taken and the reasons why.

Autumn Camp for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts
Date/time: 11th October 18:00 – 13th October 12:00
52nd will be returning to Skreen Park which is a lovely clean spot with some fantastic activities. The Beavers and most of the Cubs will be staying indoors in Leasman Centre, which has great facilities and sleeps 30. We are asking older Cubs to camp outside with the Scouts (and a handful of leaders). The site is a lovely clean spot with some fantastic activities.
Activities are still being confirmed, but will include
- Crate staking
- Camp fire building
- Pioneering (bridge building)
The cost for the entire weekend is £50 per Cub.

Parents are not required or allowed to attend this camp.

All bookings MUST be made via OSM and payments should be automated as it saves us much time in administration.We may be requesting an additional charge for any manual payments in the future.
